What we do

The primary task of ARDS Procurement Unit is to assist the ministries in various procurement procedures. This includes preparation of Expression of Interest, evaluation and short listing of the firms for issuing RFP/ Bid Documents, preparation of bid documents, Publication of ITQ, IFB etc., receipt and opening of bids, preparation of bid opening minutes, to provide assistance to line ministries in evaluation of bids/proposals, clearance of World Bank and other funding agencies, issue of Notification of Awards, Post Contractual issues if required etc. Besides, Procurement Liaison officers are given on the job training on procurement procedures.
Technical Assistance Unit (TAU) is assisting Line Ministries in recruitment of Advisors to the Line Ministries which includes preparing the Terms of Reference, issuing requests for Expressions of interests (EOIs), preparing the shortlist from EOI, facilitating the interview process and contract negotiation and finalization of contract.
